School shows
Head Usher: Arrives 60 minutes before curtain.

Helps recruit & verify school ushers. Checks in & orients ushers. Troubleshoots during school arrivals.
Ushers Arrive 60 minutes before curtain

Get assignment & orientation. Help organize playbills. Get Usher tag.
House opens 30 minutes to curtain.

Greet Buses. Collect tix & prize slips. Escort schools to sections. Fill seats. Distribute playbills to teachers.
After The Show: Help students exit. Clean up auditorium.

Public shows
6pm (or 1pm)~ Crew Chief arrives ONE hour before show starts.
Review assignments. Prepare Orientation. Secure Usher Tags.
Duties also include: Marquee Greeter (See #1) & Concessions (See #7) )
6:15pm (or 1:15pm)~Hospitality Crew Arrives 45 minutes before show starts.
BE PROMPT! Get assignments & usher tags. Orientation.
6:30pm (or 1:30pm)~To your Stations! House Opens 30 minutes before show starts.
LOBBY JOBS
1.) Marquee Greeter=1 Crew Chief
Welcomes patrons at the Marquee Door. Reminds patrons to sign up for prize drawing & which theater door to enter.
2. Playbills=2 youth grade 3 & up at the doors.*
3. Ticket Taker =2 teens/adults at the doors.* Checks & tears tickets.
TIME COMMITMENT: PreShow & Act I.
4. Prize Table=2 youth or 1 child/adult**or 1 child/teen** in the lobby.*
TIME COMMITMENT: PreShow & Intermission.
5.) Merchandise Sales: 1 adult or teen who is efficient handling money during lobby sales.*
TIME COMMITMENT: PreShow & Intermission.
6.) Refreshments: 3 adults assist Crew Chief
TIME COMMITMENT: PreShow & Act I. Sorry… You will be very busy with set up. You can peek in at the show as you are able!
7.) Refreshment Ticket Sales= 2 adults or teens who are proficient at handling money during lobby sales *
8.) Will Call Table = 1 adult/teen to assist patrons picking up their Online & Phone Tix orders. *
INSIDE THE HOUSE
9.) Stage Guard: 1 adult stands on the red carpet near the stage. Prevents patrons from using the SL and SR Vom Door. *
TIME COMMITMENT: Preshow, Intermission & Autographs. Troubleshoots as needed during performance.
10.) Ushers=4 adults/teens in the aisles to help people find their seats.*
11.) Hawker= 1 outgoing adult/teen to “hawk” refreshment tickets in the aisles before the show.*
