COVID-19 Mitigation Measures for TYA Rehearsals and Shows*
Vaccinations
-
In alignment with the CDC stance that vaccination is currently the leading public health prevention strategy, TYA production staff have been vaccinated.
Facial Coverings/Masks
-
Masks are optional for participants during rehearsals based on the youth’s level of comfort.
-
Masking is highly encouraged for non-vaccinated adults coming into the TYA rehearsal space.
Symptomatic Individuals
-
Youth should stay home if they are ill. If an individual has a fever in combination with other COVID-19 symptoms they would need to remain at home and be fever free for at least 24 hours and have improved symptom conditions before returning. COVID-19 testing is recommended for unvaccinated individuals.
-
If there are siblings in the performance and one child has tested positive we request that both children stay home until the household is fever-free for at least 24 hours and symptoms are no longer present.

*Please note, these mitigation measures are adopted from the Sheboygan Area School District and may change or be updated as new information becomes available on COVID-19 in our community and from the CDC. If deemed necessary by the TYA production team and TYA Board of Directors, rehearsals may be suspended and the production may be cancelled.
