What do I bring?

Please bring a water bottle, as there is no water fountain available at the facility. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for movement and dance. Additionally, come prepared with a complete list of any scheduling conflicts between October 20th and February 1st. A positive attitude and a willingness to fully engage are also encouraged—and don’t forget to bring your unique personality!

How do I sign up for an audition?

To sign up for an audition, please click the button below and choose a date and time that best suits your schedule. We kindly ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes early on the day of your audition to complete your conflict calendar.

What if I have too many conflicts?

While we will do our best to accommodate scheduling conflicts, please note that this may not always be possible. Certain dates—including all tech rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performances—are mandatory. If you are unavailable on any of these required dates, you will not be eligible for casting.

As a general guideline: the fewer conflicts you have, the stronger your chances of being cast.

When does rehearsals usually take place?

Rehearsals generally take place Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, though your specific schedule may vary depending on the role in which you are cast.

Please note: There will be a mandatory 30-minute parent and cast meeting on the first day of rehearsal Thursday, Oct 30th .

Is there a participation fee?

Yes! If you’re cast, there is a $50 participation fee. This helps cover the cost of costumes and set materials. Scholarships are available for anyone who needs financial assistance!

I hear that you require volunteer hours, is that true?

Yes. As a non-profit theatre, we greatly depend on the support of volunteers. For this production, we ask each participant to commit to one rehearsal period per week, which typically amounts to 3–5 hours. Volunteers can include parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or friends aged 16 and older—or children aged 10 to 15 if accompanied by a parent. Volunteer roles often involve assisting with costumes, set construction, painting, and lobby duties. Please note that if a participant is cast but does not fulfill the volunteer hour requirements, they may be ineligible for casting in future productions.

Are friends or family allowed to observe auditions?

To ensure a comfortable environment for all participants, we do not permit friends or family to watch the auditions. Auditions typically last about one hour, and seating in the waiting area is limited. We kindly ask that you make appropriate arrangements for your accompaniment.

*Please note:

Special Opportunity for the Role of Annie

If you are cast in the role of Annie, you are invited to participate in a special performance as part of the November Community Playlist, The Great Friendsgiving, held at the Weill Center on November 7th. As part of this event, you would perform either "Tomorrow" or "Maybe."
